The primary goal of Intensive In-Home Services is to prevent out-of-home placement. This service is based on the concept of helping families resolve their issues within themselves through support that promotes the development of healthy coping mechanisms and strengthening relationships among its members. It is generally provided to support families with children/adolescents from the ages of 5 through 19 years of age.
Our Intensive In-Home Services include but are not limited to:
- Ongoing counseling with the individual and family
- Communication skill training
- Therapeutic intervention education
- Service coordination with approved and involved providers
To receive this service, a child must meet the criteria for eligibility, including having issues like environmental traumas and health conditions that result from emotional, mental, and/or behavioral health problems that have detrimental effects on their socialization skills that put them at risk of out-of-home placement.
Children receiving our services must be cognitively able to understand and benefit from the interventions and counseling that we provide with this service.
