Our Mental Health Skill-Building Services program provides support for adults who need individual and goal-focused training that will enable them to be independent and be a productive member of a community. Clients who undergo this program will be taught essential knowledge and support that they can benefit from every day, and these include:
- Daily living activities education
- Community-based programs and resources access
- Medication management support
- Mental and emotional self-care
- Overall emotional wellness support
Individuals eligible for this service generally have experienced psychotic hospitalization and have an Axis 1 diagnosis related to a mental health illness. For this service, we mostly cater to individuals who have been prescribed with psychotropic medication to cope with issues related to their mental health that can range from mood-stabilization to anti-psychotic episodes.
